Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 14, 2026
The English version of this page is the official one. Translations are provided for convenience and may not be reviewed by a lawyer; if they differ, the English version applies.
These terms apply to your use of the International Barter website at international-barter.com (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Where we are today
International Barter is preparing to open an online marketplace for local, handmade and harvested goods. At the moment the site is a “coming soon” page with a waitlist and a concept preview. Nothing can be bought or sold here, no accounts exist, and no payments are taken.
2. The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist means asking us to write to you when we open. It is not an order, a contract to buy or sell, or a promise that the marketplace will open on a particular date or in your country.
- For makers, sending your details is an expression of interest. We review applications personally, and we may decide not to invite someone.
- You can ask us to remove you at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle what you send.
3. The concept preview
The concept preview at international-barter.com/preview/ is an early design. The makers, products, prices, ratings, reviews and orders in it are invented examples. They are not real people, real products or real sales, and nothing in it can be purchased.
4. Using the site
Please use the site fairly and lawfully. You agree not to:
- send us false, misleading or abusive messages, or someone else’s details without their permission;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
- use automated tools to harvest content or email addresses from the site, or to send spam through it;
- copy or reuse the site’s design, logo, text or images without our written permission.
5. What you send us
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you send. Please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers. We use what you send as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
The International Barter name, logo, design, text and images are ours or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and share its link, but you may not copy or sell our content without permission.
7. Links and third parties
The site relies on outside services such as hosting, email and fonts, and may link to other websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for them.
8. No guarantees
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. It is an early page, and we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or up to date, or that the plans described on it will happen exactly as written.
9. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, International Barter is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right or responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
10. When we start selling
When the marketplace opens, separate terms will apply to buying and selling, such as order, delivery, payment, returns and seller terms. We will publish them before anyone can place an order, and you will be asked to accept them then.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the project grows. The new version will be posted here with a new date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
